OBR Parts & Marine is committed to making obrparts.com usable for everyone, including people who navigate with a keyboard, use a screen reader, or rely on other assistive technology. Being able to look up a part, check a price, and place an order shouldn't depend on how you browse.
The standard we build to
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the benchmark most commonly referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act. We treat it as an ongoing standard to hold the site to, not a one-time checkbox.
As part of that work, we've built the site with meaningful headings and page structure, labeled forms and controls, keyboard operability with a visible focus indicator, color contrast targets for text and controls, and descriptive text for images. The site also respects your own device settings — reduced motion, light or dark mode, and text zoom.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is never truly finished. We continue to test the site with assistive technology and fix issues as we find them. If a part of the site doesn't work for you, we consider that a bug — and we want to hear about it so we can put it right.
