How long will my order take to ship to my ZIP code?
UPS Ground from our Semmes, AL warehouse takes 1-5 business days depending on destination zone. Use the ZIP estimator above to see your transit time. 3-Day, 2-Day, and Next Day Air services hit those numbers regardless of where you are in the lower 48.
When does my order actually ship out?
Qualifying orders placed before our same-day cutoff ship the same business day. Orders placed after the cutoff ship the next business day. Most orders ship same day, and nearly all ship within one business day.
What's the difference between UPS Ground and Freight Line shipping?
Smaller items ship via UPS Ground (standard parcel service). Powerheads over 150 lbs, 8-cylinder shortblocks, 4-stroke longblocks, and larger gear cases ship via freight line: palletized truck delivery at a flat $210. Complete sterndrives ship as two parcels (upper and lower) at 2× the parcel rate. Freight delivery typically takes 1-3 business days, sometimes faster than UPS.
Are shipping times guaranteed?
UPS only guarantees Next Day Air (they also guarantee a 2nd Day Air A.M. service, which we don't offer). 2-Day, 3-Day, and Ground transit times are estimates, not guarantees. Freight line delivery dates aren't guaranteed either. Weekends and holidays are excluded from all transit times.
Can I get Saturday delivery?
Yes, on Next Day Air for an additional $45, where available. Saturday delivery is not offered on Ground, 2-Day, or 3-Day services and isn't available in every ZIP. Call 251.645.2050 to confirm for a specific address.
Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or internationally?
For Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, U.S. military addresses, or international shipments, call us at 251.645.2050 for rates and timing. The pricing and transit estimates on this page apply to the lower 48 states.
What are accessorial charges and when do they apply?
Accessorial charges apply to freight-line shipments only: liftgate delivery (if you don't have a forklift), residential addresses (vs. commercial), and scheduled delivery appointments. These charges are passed through from the freight carrier and billed separately from the $210 freight rate.
What carriers do you use?
UPS is our primary parcel carrier for Ground, 3-Day, 2-Day, and Next Day Air. We use FedEx as an alternate when it makes sense for the destination. Items over 150 lbs ship via freight line. The specific carrier varies by destination.
What payment methods do you accept for shipped orders?
Visa, MasterCard, Discover, wire transfer, and ACH. Orders over $4,000 must be paid with certified funds or credit card.
What if my package arrives damaged?
If there's visible damage, refuse delivery and call us at 251.645.2050 the same day. We'll get a replacement moving immediately.
